Daniel B. is a New York-born singer, songwriter, and music producer of Afro-Peruvian and Dominican descent. His sound mixes traditional Latin arrangements with contemporary production elements, pop melodic lines, and thematic exploration rooted in Afro identity.

 

Since graduating from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU, Daniel has taught voice, piano, music production, and music theory in the USA and abroad. In addition to being a talented and thoughtful music teacher of all ages, Daniel is bilingual and teaches with fluency in English and Spanish.
 

Soundcloud and VEVO have featured Daniel on various playlists. His music video "Quema" was televised on the program Sounds of the World on TVPerú. Daniel has almost 300 thousand combined streams across multiple platforms to this day. The New York Times and the New York Daily News have profiled Daniel's journey. His voice has been heard on MTV and VH1, with widespread acclaim for his single, "Never Let You Go." Companies like Apple, Marvel Studios, and Mercedes-Benz licensed his music.

As an artist and educator, nothing brings Daniel more joy than enabling creativity and expression. He strives to share his passion for music with anyone willing to learn–guiding all his students to find and nurture their best creative selves in the lifelong pursuit of music.
