Nick

Voice, Piano

Nick is a dual degree graduate (Music Education and Songwriting) from Berklee College of Music. He began studying vocal and piano performance in his pre-collegiate years, and has continued exploring styles that include classical, musical theater, rock, pop, jazz, and punk. Nick has performed in the Berklee Performance Center (“Sweeney Todd,” “West Side Story”), and Symphony Hall (MMEA All State Chorus 2013, Final Fantasy Tour 2015, “Lord of the Rings” In Concert 2016). Nick also composes pop and rock repertoire, primarily for musical theater.

Nick began his piano experience as a self-taught student, and started classical lessons at age 13. While attending Berklee College of Music, Nick was employed as a piano bar entertainer at the Howl at the Moon's Boston piano bar for five years, and continues to perform for the company in its various locations. As a requirement of all players, Nick was required to learn over sixty songs by ear alone, including some of the biggest music hits from both the 20th and 21st centuries. Nick continues to play for local dueling piano shows to this day.

Nick feels strongly that music and the arts belong in a child’s education. He says that “every student has a gift or talent of some sort- it is just a matter of having the patience to let his or her talents brew to its fullest potential. It is not a matter of forcing these gifts out of the students, but rather guiding students in the right direction to their full potential.”
