Kate is a New York City based singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and teacher. With a background in contemporary, classical, and jazz studies, Kate is a versatile vocalist, background singer, keyboardist, and vocal arranger for a wide range of artists both in studio and on stage. Holding a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Songwriting with a concentration in voice, Kate brings her immense passion for the industry and strong technical abilities to every performance, recording session, and student.
Kate has played venues from New York favorite Rockwood Music Hall, to Good Morning America with Elle King, to Toyota Stadium with The Voice Season 16 winner Maelyn, to national tours. Kate's arrangements, vocals, and compositions have been featured in countless artist recordings, jingles, film, television shows, video games, advertisements, and viral videos for clients such as Hefty, Marvel, Coors Light, Brother, UPS, McDonald's, and KFC. As a songwriter, Kate collaborates with many musicians across the New York scene. Kate's professionalism, work ethic, positive collaborative attitude, and talents have led her to become a staple in the New York music scene.
As an instructor, Kate focuses on long term vocal health while helping students reach their full potential in a warm, professional, and completely non-judgmental environment. Kate has experience working with students of all ages and skill levels across many musical genres. From working with complete beginners to students who are preparing for high pressure time sensitive auditions and everything in between, Kate tailors her approach to the needs and goals of every individual student and employs her deep knowledge of most musical genres and stellar vocal technique in order to help and inspire students at any stage of their development.
