
Eunji
Piano
Eunji received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance at City University of New York, Hunter College and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has performed at various venues such as Frank & Camille's Recital Hall, Ida K. Lang Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, Bezanson Recital Hall, New York University and New York City National Opera Center. Eunji has also been featured in a televised series with CUNY: Study With the Best series with her undergraduate professor, Dr. Nguyen, and has also participated in the International Keyboard Festival held at Mannes School of Music, The New School. Eunji also loves sharing her music with the local community. She played for various hospitals and senior centers. Her ongoing goal is to continue bringing music into these communities.
Eunji has taught students of all ages and skill levels and has also taught special-needs students. Eunji loves to provide many performing and learning opportunities for her students outside of weekly lessons: Eunji is very experienced in preparing her students for the NYSSMA examinations as well as competitions. Her students have entered various music competitions in New York City and New Jersey.
Eunji believes that learning music is a life-long endeavor. Regardless of age or background, every student deserves equal opportunities to learn and should have fair access to instruction to enhance their abilities, goals, and talents. Most importantly, Eunji wishes that all her students grow to love the instrument and to continue to share that love with those around them.
